The primary objective of the Chicopee Comprehensive High School Science
Department is to have students come away with not only scientific information
but with an analytical way of thinking that they can apply to any number of
situations in life. Students enrolled in science courses will use their
problem-solving, inquiry, communications, and interpersonal skills in both the
classroom and laboratory settings. Laboratory settings will enable students to
use the tools of science in a responsible and safe manner. Students will learn
to collect, organize, and report scientific data and formulate conclusions. In
an increasingly competitive society--excellence in science education is our
fundamental priority.
