Color Guard Advisor

Ms. Wood

What is the Color Guard?

Color Guard is a part of the Music Department. They help to "show" the music. They dance, twirl, and have fun. They practice with the band and perform at concerts, field shows, Frolics, and compete nationally. In the Spring of 2001, the guard took first place nationally for indoor guard performance.

Who should join the Color Guard?

If you can dance, have grace, and love music, color guard is for you. If you are lacking in those fields, don't worry because with plenty of practice, you'll get the hang of it. Girls and guys can have fun twirling a variety of objects, from flags to rifles to sabers, etc.
